FAQ: FAQ

IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN TRY OUT WHAT IT IS LIKE TO FLY?

YES! We offer introductory flights. It is an hour-long experience where you are able to preflight the airplane, and experience the joy of flight alongside your instructor.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE BEFORE TAKING LESSONS?

There is no set age requirement to start flight training. However, it is important to keep in mind that one must be at least 16 to solo, and 17 or older to receive the private pilot's certificate.

DO YOU HAVE GROUND?

Yes! We offer one on one in-person and online ground school as part of our flight training curriculum.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BE A PILOT?

To be a pilot, one needs at least forty hours of flight instruction; however, the national average is around 70. The time it takes to learn, is also entirely up to the student. If the student is dedicated and does as told, one can finish in just about three to six months as a private pilot.
